Diljit Dosanjh Father, Diljit Dosanjh Family: Diljit Dosanjh is undoubtedly among the most followed and loved Punjabi singers in the current era. Almost every day, Diljit Dosanjh breaks the internet either by his special gesture to his fans during his live concerts or by his singing & acting. Recently, Diljit Dosanjh's family was introduced for the first time by the Punjabi singer himself during a live concert in the UK. Not only this but during one of his live concerts, Diljit dedicated a song of Kuldeep Manak to his father. However, Diljit Dosanjh's father had to leave the concert midway. Now, the question arises why did Diljit Dosanjh Father leave the live concert midway? 

As per reports, Diljit Dosanjh's father Balbir Singh left the concert due to being in a wheelchair. Due to his medical condition, Balbir Singh left the show earlier than the rest of the family. At the same concert, Diljit expressed his gratitude and love, saying, “Today, I am singing on this stage because of my father. I love you, Daddy.”

Who is Diljit Dosanjh's father?

Diljit Dosanjh comes from a humble background. He was born into a Sikh family in 1984 in the village of Dosanjh Kalan in Phillaur tehsil, Jalandhar district, Punjab. Diljit's father Balbir Singh worked as a bus driver in Punjab roadways. At one point in time, he drew a salary of Rs 5000 a month. His mother, Sukhwinder Kaur, is a homemaker.

Notably, Diljit Dosanjh is quite a private person when it comes to his family. In an earlier interview with an entertainment portal, Diljit revealed, "I don’t want my family to be targeted with derogatory comments in case something bad happens. I want to keep them safe from trolls and media judgments. If I ever choose the wrong film or song, I don’t want my family to suffer because of that."
