It was a night to remember for the people of Punjab as a sea of fans attended Diljit Dosanjh's concert in Ludhiana. Diljit Dosanjh concluded his Dil-Luminati India Tour 2024 with a grand finale at PAU Football Ground in Ludhiana. Around 40 thousand fans attended DIljit's Ludhiana show on New Year's Eve i.e. on December 31. Now, there are reports that Diljit's concert venue i.e. PAU Ground was left in a bad shape after the conclusion of the show.
According to reports, the show was organized in PAU, but it affected the sports ground and astroturf. Tickets for Diljit Dosanjh's show were distributed in the multipurpose hall of Guru Nanak Stadium, which affected the players' practice for three days. However, the administration neither gave any information to the sports department in this regard nor approved it.
Even the coaches were not allowed to go inside where the tickets were distributed. The next day of the show, the coaches saw that the organizers present there had lit a fire on the track at night. The handball ground was also spoiled by putting mud and the ground has been completely spoiled due to tents being set up in the ground at various places.
However, the District administration has now said that the damaged track in the multipurpose hall has been patched up so that players can practice easily.
Vehicles were allowed to enter the ground
A parking facility was provided at 18 places in the city for Diljit Dosanjh's program. VIP parking was made in the Smart School ground inside PAU. But due to the entry of vehicles into the playground, the ground got completely damaged. Due to this players practicing handball are also facing problems.
