Bollywood actress Disha Patani's sister Khushboo Patani has ended her Indian Army stint on a high. Khushboo Patani on Saturday took to her Instagram stories and revealed that she retired from the Indian Army on Friday. Khushboo Patani's Indian Army retirement announcement was done by her when she was praising her sister Disha for delivering a powerful performance in the movie Yodha. According to her Instagram profile, Khushboo Patani retired from the Indian Army on 'Major' post. Therefore, she now uses the title, Major Khushboo Patani on her Instagram. Below is what Khushboo Patani wrote-
"Kal retirement tha mera aur aj yodha dekh lee.Bhoot emotional tha mere leae. Poori 12 saal maine 2 hr mae ji liya.Emotional roller coaster for me. Bhoot bar mere ankhae naam hogaye. Bhoot bar mujhae apnae sathiyo ki yaad agae. I don't know ap ko kaisa feel hota hain but vo desh kae leae sab chordene ka jazba hi mujhae zinda rakhta hain !"
For the unversed, unlike her sister Disha, Khushboo opted to serve the country by joining the Indian Armed Forces. Before being promoted, she was holding the rank of Lieutenant in the Indian Army. Alongside her military responsibilities, she also maintained an official Instagram page, where she shared glimpses of her life and fitness routine.
In the past, Khushboo had shared her pictures from Indian Army training days. "Training time.. How time changes so fast ? From that to that to that hahahah cheers to life and cheers to struggle.." wrote Khushboo.
