Kapurthala, October 21: On the occasion of National Police Commemoration Day, SSP paid tribute to martyrs. Vatsala Gupta urged the police officers and employees to deal with the problems faced by the family members of the martyrs and give them full respect while doing their office work on priority basis.
On the occasion of the commemoration ceremony dedicated to the police memorial day at the local police line, SSP Vatsala Gupta while paying tribute said that the sacrifice of the martyrs who laid down their lives for the unity and integrity of the country can never be given, due to whose precious sacrifices we are all living in a peaceful environment.She said that it is the duty of all of us to take full care of the families of the martyrs and the district police is always ready to provide all possible help to these families.She further stated that the district police is fully committed to the welfare of these families and the necessary help in all aspects. SSP told all the officers and employees that if any kind of problem of such families comes to their attention then it should be ensured to be solved on priority basis in minimum time so that the martyrs who laid down their lives for the sake of the country. Family members should not face any trouble.
SSP Vatsala Gupta reached the police line and took a salute from the guard after which the guard reversed their weapons and paid tribute to the martyrs and kept a 2 minute silence in their memory in which all the attendees participated. She also presented mementos to the family members of the martyrs of Kapurthala Police who were present on the Police Commemoration Day. At the end she also interacted with the families of the martyrs and assured them that the district police officers are committed to provide all possible help to them in case of need.At the occasion sp investigation Ramninder Singh and sp headquarters Tejbir Singh Hundal were also present.
