A pet dog spent six days outside a hospital where her owner was undergoing treatment. Several pictures and video of this dog is going viral on the internet in Turkey and across the globe.
Boncuk, the dog followed the ambulance on January 14 after it ferried away the owner, Cemal Senturk to a hospital in the black sea town of Trabzon.
According to a report published in Associated Press, Boncuk (the dog) made several rounds of the hospitals until the owner was discharged.
After seeing his owner on the wheel chair, she became jubilant. The daughter of Senturk, Aynur Egeli, told AP that whenever she took the dog back home, every time the canine returned and stood outside the hospital, waiting for his owner.
Muhammet Akdeniz, a guard at the hospital told media that the dog visited everyday at 9 am and waiting till nigh fall. “She doesn’t go in. When the door opens, she pokes her head inside,” he added.
The owner of the dog is now discharged and took his dog home on January 20. As they say, dog is the man's best friend, several examples are there when dogs wait for their owners to return and take them home.
Similar to this incident, a dog in China waited for his the owner by a bridge that left netizens teary eyed. The owner reportedly, jumped off the bridge and the poor dog waited long hours for his master to return.
