Domestic Cylinder prices hiked by ₹50 from today

With effect from today, the price of a 14.2 kg domestic liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) cylinder has increased by $50. From today, the residential cylinder will cost 999.50 per cylinder, according to the most recent adjustment.

The price of a 19 kg commercial LPG cylinder was increased by approximately 102 to 2,355.5 in Delhi earlier this month. A 5-kg LPG commercial cylinder's price was also raised to Rs 655.

Since the Assembly elections in five states, the price of gasoline, diesel, and cooking gas has been progressively rising. The subsidised household LPG cylinder was increased by Rs 50 on March 22. There was no change in the pricing of household LPG cylinders after October 6, 2021.

Due to local taxes, domestic LPG prices differ from state to state. LPG cylinder prices are updated at the start of each month by fuel retailers.


The household gas cylinder in Rajasthan has now increased to Rs 1003.50 as a result of this hike. This will be the first time that Rs 1000 will be required to purchase an LPG cylinder. Commercial gas cylinder costs have also been slashed by Rs 9, making them accessible for Rs 2364.50 per cylinder starting today.
