In yet another incident of unruly behaviour by passengers on a flight, a man was arrested at Amritsar airport after misbehaving with women cabin crews and shouting at them after consuming liquor on Dubai to Amritsar flight. The incident took place on an Indogo flight number 6E 1428 which was coming from Dubai to Amritsar. The man was arrested as soon as the Indigo flight landed at Amritsar Airport. After his arrest, the man was identified as Rajinder Singh, a resident of Kotli Village in Jalandhar. Rajinder (the accused) was traveling from Dubai to Amritsar in the Indigo flight and he started consuming liquor in the flight. During excessive drinking, Rajinder lost his calm and started misbehaving with women cabin crew members on the flight. Not only this but the accused also started screaming inside the flight. Acting on the complaint of Ajay Kumar, the Police resisted a complaint under sections 354 and 509 of the IPC. After being arrested, the accused was produced before the court from where he was sent to Judicial custody.

It is pertinent to mention here that it is not the first time, unruly behaviour has been seen in flights. In April 2023, Air India deboarded an unruly passenger from a Delhi-London flight after the accused to cause physical harm to two cabin crew members. The accused was a 25-year-old passenger and he was handed over to the security personnel after flight AI 111 landed at the Delhi airport and an FIR was also been lodged with the police. Another infamous incident took place in November last year when a drunk man urinated on a woman co-passenger in the business class of an Air India flight and left without facing any action. After a massive uproar, Air India filed a case and also recommended that the unruly flier be placed on the no-fly list.
