'Dua Lipa not coming to India': ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 closing ceremony lineup announced

BCCI announced the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 closing ceremony lineup, and confirmed that Grammy-winning popstar Dua Lipa will not be coming to Ahmedabad.

After a month & half of cricket carnival in India, the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 has moved towards its conclusion. The ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 will be concluded with Team India locking horns with Australia at the world's largest cricket stadium- Narendra Modi Stadium. The India vs Australia World Cup 2023 final is expected to be a star-studded affair. Not only this, 1,30,000 people are expected to witness the historic India vs Australia World Cup 2023 final match. As a result, BCCI on Saturday announced the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 closing ceremony lineup, and in a way confirmed that Grammy-winning popstar Dua Lipa will not be coming to Ahmedabad. 

 

Who will be performing at the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 closing ceremony?

 

BCCI on Saturday took to his official X handle and wrote, "It doesn't get any bigger than this ...The ICC Men's Cricket World Cup 2023 Final is filled with stellar performances and an experience of a lifetime."

 

In the World Cup 2023 celebs lineup, BCCI announced that from 1:30 pm to 1:50 pm (IST) Suryakiran IAF Airshow will take place. During the first innings drinks break Gujarati singer Aditya Gadhavi will perform. After the first innings break, fans will be witnessing Pritam Chakraborty, Jonita Gandhi, Nakash Aziz, Amit Mishra, Akasa Singh, and Tushar Joshi's performances. In the second inning drinks break, laser and light show will take place.

As per reports, the family members of all Indian cricketers will be cheering from the stands, and Hardik Pandya, who was in attendance during the semi-final in Mumbai, will most likely be in Ahmedabad too. Sachin Tendulkar, who has attended quite a few India games this World Cup, will be in the stands for the title clash too.

 

In addition to leading politicians, former cricketers and families of current cricketers, entire BCCI (Board of Control for Cricket in India) and ICC (International Cricket Council) top brass will be in attendance and various representatives of state associations will be in Ahmedabad too.
