Hollywood pop star Dua Lipa recently suffered a bizarre security scare while she was staying in a 5-star hotel in Chile. As per The Sun, a group of fans intruded into the Chilean 5-star hotel and even reached outside Dua Lipa's bedroom door. The report suggests that Dua Lipa was left totally shocked and shaken with fear over the bizarre security scare. Due to the intrusion of fans, Dua Lipa's security is now being reviewed.
The 29-year-old pop star has been staying at the five-star Ritz-Carlton in Santiago, Chile, after flying to South America to film a commercial. The report quoted a source who informed, "Things were manic as she touched down with fans desperate to see her. A group of fans gained access not only to her hotel floor but some were found to her room. Security ended up doing an extra sweep and there were more fans waiting at her lift. Dua said she would not take pictures inside her hotel."
It is pertinent to mention here that Dua Lipa's security scare throws a shade on Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan's security scare. For the unversed, on January 16, at 2 a.m. in the night, a robber broke into Saif Ali Khan's apartment in Bandra, Mumbai, and attacked the actor with sharp weapons. The robber reportedly asked Saif Ali Khan for a ransom but a scuffle broke out between the duo that ended up with Saif getting seriously injured. Saif suffered 6 injuries in the attack.
Notably, Dua Lipa's security scare is not very close to Saif Ali Khan but it indeed outlines the importance of security for celebrities.
Last year, Dua Lipa performed in Mumbai and took the internet by storm. Dua's performance on the viral crossover song Levitating and Wo Ladki jo filmed on Shah Rukh was the talk of the town.
Coming back to the Saif Ali Khan stabbing case, the Mumbai Police on Sunday said that a man, identified as Mohammad Shariful Islam Shahzad, has been arrested from Maharashtra's Thane adding that he could be originally from Bangladesh. Dikshit Gedam, DCP, Crime Branch Mumbai, while addressing a press conference said, "There is primary evidence to anticipate that the accused is a Bangladeshi. He does not have valid Indian documents. Some seizures indicate that he is a Bangladeshi national..."
