Bollywood actress & Mandi MP Kangana Ranaut is all set to make her comeback on the silver screens with the much-awaited movie of the year Emergency. As a result, Kangana Ranaut is busy in promotions for her upcoming movie Emergency based on the darkest chapter of Indian democracy when (then) Prime Minister Indira Gandhi imposed an emergency in the country and scrapped all fundamental rights including freedom of the press. Recently, Kangana Ranaut was featured in Raj Shamani's Podcast in which she opened up about her early life, Khans of Bollywood, and politics in Bollywood. Talking about early life, Kangana opened up about her life in a boarding school in Chandigarh where she felt lost. Now, the question arises which Chandigarh boarding school did Kangana study? Below is an excerpt from the interview-
"When I was in school, when I was in boarding in all of that, I could not cope with the pressure of studies. I subconsciously left school. I left the school in Class 12 (subconsciously). I was a Hindi medium kid. Suddenly, my papa left me in a boarding school," said Kangana.
On being asked which boarding school she studied in, Kangana answered, "DAV 15 in Chandigarh."
"He left me in a high-fi boarding school. Everyone was speaking English there. They were all convent-educated. The girls were very sharp. Their percentage used to come 99, second was getting 98.9, third was getting 98.2. There was so much competition. I was good in my studies but I felt so lost in that environment. I was coming from a school where there were only 20 to 25 children," added Kangana.
Notably, True Scoop tried to dig more about DAV 15 Chandigarh Boarding School but it could not find any school of this particular name. However, there is a D.A.V. Model School in Sector 15 of Chandigarh and it also has an 'only girls' hostel. Therefore, Kangana Ranaut might be talking about this particular school and used a short form to name it during the podcast.
