On Sunday morning, at around 7:15 am, residents of Vizag in Andhra Pradesh witnessed mysterious loud sounds and tremors for at least four to five seconds. After this mysterious activity people were witnessed and were seen gathered on road, for the sake of safety.
The earthquake news was also shared by the Earthquake Monitors, through their official Twitter account. The tweet read, “Seismic-like event, possible #earthquake, reported a few minutes ago near Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, India - info, user reports and updates.”
Volcanodiscovery.com said it received “unverified early reports of the ground shaking” caused by possible “seismic activity” near Vizag. “We are receiving unverified early reports of the ground shaking possibly caused by seismic activity in or near Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, India on 14 Nov 2021 (GMT) at approximately 01:43. There are no details yet on the magnitude or depth of this possible quake,” the website reported.
