A delegation of ETT Teachers Union, today met the Education Minister, Vijay Inder Singla and expressed gratitude for reciprocating positively towards their demand by releasing advertisement for 6635 posts of ETT teachers.
It is worthwhile to mention here that the agitating unemployed teacher Surinder Pal was persuaded to end his protest at Patiala especially accompanied the delegation to thank the Education Minister.
Interacting with the delegation,Singla said that the Punjab government was committed to provide ample employment avenues for the youth in general and particularly sympathetic towards the hopes and aspirations of the aspiring teachers. The education department had been devising modalities to fulfill their demands.
Deputy Commissioner, Kumar Amit, SSP Dr.Sandip Garg, Varun Sharma, SDM Charanjit Singh, State President ETT TETcleared Adhiyapak Union, Deepak Kamboj, Sandip Sama, Nirmal Singh Jira, Jarnail Singh Nagra, Raj Sukhwinder Singh, Surinder Pal, Sulinder Kamboj, Kuldip Khokher, and Sukhjit Singh among others were present on the occasion.
