The answer is yes she can. Kamala Harris can still be the President of the United States. US media houses are showing Trump is still far away from the majority 270 mark. As per early projections, the counting of votes is still underway and Kamala Harris-led Democrats are decreasing the trailing margin quickly. For instance, at around 10 am (IST) BBC reported that former President and Republican candidate Donald Trump is ahead with 211 electoral votes, while Kamala Harris is leading with 165 electoral votes.
However, just after half an hour, Kamala Harris started leading on 210 electoral votes while Trump at the same time was leading on 230. Whosoever will hit the majority mark of 270 will take the White House. Notably, political experts on US media still believe that US Elections 2024 Results is a close fight between Harris and Trump.
Notably, Donald Trump has won the first of the seven key battleground swing states in a major blow to Kamala Harris. Trump is projected to have taken North Carolina and its 16 electoral college votes - an invaluable step in winning a return to the White House. If Harris takes the lead in other swing states, then only she can surpass Donald Trump and become the new US President.
