Bigg Boss OTT Season 2 winner Elvish Yadav on Saturday broke his silence on the viral videos that showcased him beating YouTuber Maxtern aka Sagar Thakur. On Friday, multiple videos went viral on social media in which Elvish Yadav along with 8 to 10 men were seen beating down a YouTuber Maxtern after he allegedly mocked him for hugging comedian Munawar Faruqui. As a result, Elvish Yadav Maxtern fight video went viral in no time. YouTuber Maxtern accused Elvish of brutally beating him and even threatening him to kill him. Now, Bigg Boss OTT Season 2 winner Elvish Yadav has finally broken his silence over the entire controversy-
"You all have heard the story of one side and I also have the right to share my side of story...Open his (Maxtern) Twitter handle or YouTube. I went to Bigg Boss house 8 months ago. Just see his activities what he has been doing with me and what I am doing against him. His every tweet was against me, he kept on poking me. I met him once in the past during a shoot and we bonded positively. However, I was surprised seeing his attitude and posts against me. Then, I got to know that he do these things just get followers....I asked him to give his number so that I can sort things out once and for all.
"I asked him over call that why is he continuously targeting him for the past 8 months? He abruptly said let's meet. Then, I said ok, let's meet as my flight has landed. You must have all seen that he shared our chats and eve shared video saying he is 40 minutes away from the location. I sent him my home's location and we will sit and talk. I even said that I will not beat him at my home as we treat guests as gods. Before this, I had to go to meet my mother. But, he said that he will burn me and my family alive. Then, I lost my calm and abused him over call. Then, I said I am coming you send me your location. He sent me his friend's shop location where full camera was set up. He knew what was going to happen. He was even wearing microphone when he was getting beaten. He knew how to use all the video. For those who are saying that Maxtern was alone, he was not. He was with four other men.
I want to ask everyone what will you all do if someone abuses your family and your mother. I am not a kind of person who will act as a coward with the person who says that he will burn my family alive. After the fight, I felt like I have beaten him very much then I contacted him and called him to my home to sort things out. But, he refused. Not only this, he filed an FIR against me the next day. He also raised questions on the Police after they not added section 307. In the video, it is clear that I was not holding any weapon. "

Kapil Ahlawat, ACP Sadar talking to a newswire said, "Sagar Thakur, who is also a YouTuber, gave a written complaint that Elvish Yadav assaulted him. A case has been registered against 8-10 people including Elvish Yadav...Investigation into the case is underway..." The police registered an FIR under IPC Section 147, 149, 323, 506.
