The Enforcement Directorate has launched an investigation against the embattled former Congress Minister Bharat Bhushan Ashu.
The state vigilance department arrested former Punjab Minister Ashu for 2000 crore in the transport tenders allocation scam last week and is most likely to be presented before the court on Monday after the two-day extended remand period ends.
Apart from this, the Enforcement Directorate has also asked for the FIR copies of cases filed against former congress ministers Sadhu Singh Dharamsot and Sangat Singh Gilzian from the state Vigilance bureau.
It is pertinent to mention here that the vigilance also wanted an investigation from the Enforcement Directorate against Bharat Bhushan Ashu as the source hint about possible foreign investment from the congress leader.
