England Cricket Board on Thursday announced a 16 member squad for the 5 match T20 series against India. After England's historic victory against India in the first test, the visitors are on cloud 9 and in full confidence. Talking about India, the hosts are looking to repeat the history of Australia i.e. eyeing a huge comeback from the second test. England cricket team is in India on a four-Test series which began on February 5, followed by five T20Is and three ODIs.
England announced its T20 squad and as expected, it's limited over captain Eoin Morgan will be leading the side. The presence of Bairstow, Buttler, Archer will bolster the England batting lineups. However, one player who has got the attention is David Malan. Malan at present is the number T20 batsman of the world based on ICC rankings. Talking about rankings, India's captain Virat Kohli is the only Indian in top 10 T20 batsmen of the world. Kohli's ranking is 7.
