Boeing model under scrutiny in India after the Ethiopia Crash

According to a senior official, Aviation regulator DGCA will be seeking information from Jet Airways as well as SpiceJet who fly the Boeing 737 MAX jets. The move comes after the fatal crash of the Boeing 737 MAX in Ethiopia which took away the lives of all the 157 people on board.

Out of the 157 who died, 4 of the passengers were Indians. The plane had reportedly crashed few minutes after taking off from Addis Ababa.

According to the official, the Director General of Civil Aviation would be seeking information from plane maker Boeing and Indian carriers operating Boeing 737 MAX planes in India.
