Denmark’s Christian Eriksen health condition is now
reportedly stable as he was rushed to the hospital after he collapsed on the pitch
in an opening match against Finland in Copenhagen.
In a statement issued by UEFA, the match was tied at 0-0 when Eriksen suddenly collapsed on the pitch in the 42nd minute of the match even without developing contact with any other player. Owing to the player’s health condition, UEFA suspended Euro Cup 2020 Group B opening match between Denmark and Finland.
"The player has been transferred to the hospital and has been stabilized," UEFA tweeted.
