Russia again attacked Ukraine with a Hypersonic Missile
The Russian army has once again attacked Ukraine with the supersonic hypersonic Kinzhal missile. Russia said that an oil depot in Ukraine was destroyed through this latest attack.
The Russian military also claimed that it had killed 100 soldiers of Ukrainian Special Forces and foreign fighters. Meanwhile, great progress has been made in the direction of peace in Russia and Ukraine. Turkey has said that Ukraine and Russia have moved towards an agreement on complex issues.
Russia's Defense Ministry issued a statement saying, 'Kinzhal hypersonic missile has destroyed a huge fuel warehouse of the Ukrainian army. The godown was located in the Mykolaiv area. Russia said that it was through this warehouse that the Ukrainian army was being supplied oil in the southern region of the country.
Meanwhile, Turkey's foreign minister has said that Russia and Ukraine are moving towards an agreement on complex issues and that some issues have also been agreed upon.
'Chance of ceasefire increased in Russia and Ukraine'
Turkey's foreign minister expressed hope that there could be a ceasefire if either side does not back down. Turkey is working hard to bring Moscow and Kyiv to the negotiating table to end the current war. Turkey has said that Russian President Vladimir Putin is still unwilling to meet his Ukrainian counterpart Volodymyr Zelensky.
A government spokesman, Ibrahim Kalin, said President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has proposed a meeting between the leaders of the two warring countries in Turkey to end the ongoing war.
Kalin was quoted as saying, 'Zelensky is ready to do this. On the contrary, Putin is not ready. Turkey is looking forward to holding a meeting between Putin and Zelensky after which further progress can be made in the talks.
Kalin further said that neither Ukraine nor the world community is likely to readily agree to recognition of Russia's occupation of Crimea and the Donbas region, which includes Luhansk and Donetsk. This is a major violation of international law.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has ordered the suspension of the activities of 11 political parties in the country that have links with Russia. The largest of these is the Apposition Platform for Life, which has 44 seats in the 450-member Ukrainian parliament.
The party is headed by Viktor Medvedchuk, who has good relations with Russian President Vladimir Putin. Putin is the 'godfather' of Medvedchuk's daughter. Also on the list is the Nashi (Our) party led by Yevgeniy Murayev.
