The Internet has been buzzing about Bollywood actor Abhishek Bachchan getting a divorce from actress Aishwarya Rai. In the viral video, Abhishek Bachchan said, "Aishwarya and I, we both have decided to get divorced. The last couple of years have been a bit weird for my daughter Aaradhya but today here I am talking about the reason behind the divorce with Aishwarya."

Aishwarya along with her daughter Aaradhya recently flew to Dubai for SIIMA Awards 2024 where she bagged Best Actress award for Ponniyin Selvan 2, directed by Mani Ratnam. Aaradhya's photos also went viral on social media as she was seen filming and clicking her mother's pictures during the event. However, Abhishek Bachchan was nowhere to be seen and hence fans speculated that there might be something wrong between the couple. However, the video that is going viral on social media is totally fake and in reality it is a deep fake video of Abhishek Bachchan. As per reports, Abhishek too came forward and reacted to his viral video and called it deep fake. Not only this, but Abhishek Bachchan Divorce video was also fact-checked by Instagram.
Hence, it can be said that Abhishek Bachchan announcing divorce with Aishwarya is totally fake and misleading.
Abhishek Bachchan & Aishwarya Rai's love story
Abhishek Bachchan met Aishwarya Rai for the first time during the photoshoot of the film Dhaai Akshar Prem Ke in 2000. At the sets of the photoshoot, Aish and Abhishek became friends. AQlthough the movie was not a success, they continued to remain friends and started doing more films together. As per reports, it was during the shoot of their 2006 epic drama Umrao Jaan that Abhishek had first started to develop feelings for her.
In a podcast, Abhishek revealed, “I was filming in New York for a movie, and I used to stand on my balcony of my hotel room and wish that one day wouldn’t it be nice if I was together with [Aishwarya], married? So I took her to the very same balcony, and I asked her to marry me.” As per Abhishek, Aishwarya accepted his marriage proposal.
Finally, Abhishek and Aishwarya got engaged on 14 January, 2007, and they got married on 20 April 2007. Aishwarya and Abhishek were blessed with a baby girl. They named their daughter Aaradhya.
