Anushka and Virat visited Premanand Ji Maharaj after the cricketer's dismal performance at the Border-Gavaskar Trophy. In the meanwhile, a video on Instagram went viral in which filmmaker Karan Johar can be heard saying that Anushka Sharma is deaf in one ear. The video is also promoted with the caption, "Anushka is a deaf".

The viral video is from Koffee with Karan. In the show, Karan Johar said, "You know why she is inching towards you like that because Anushka can't hear. From one side of her ear she cant hear. It's her problem. I did tell her parents about her problem. She has a hearing disorder. You must know this on national television."
Anushka then clarified, "I will tell you what it is. Sometimes I am not interested in the conversation that people are having. So, I go into my own world. Suddenly, I heard one word, huh! That sounded interesting and I ask, what did you say? That's why you think I am deaf."
Keeping long things short, Anushka Sharma is not deaf and the video that is floating online is totally misleading. Maybe that's why the uploader of the video put three laughing emoji on the top.
