The CBI raid at Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia in the excise policy case has sparked a massive row. At a time when America's New York Times has praised Delhi Government for its education model in its newspaper, Manish Sisodia has come under the radar of the CBI. Multiple Aam Aadmi Party leaders including Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal have lashed out at the Central Government and accused them of targetting Sisodia because the New York Times has praised the Delhi Education model. In response, the BJP has accused the AAP of running a paid news in the New York Times. Amidst AAP vs BJP, Congress leader Sukhpal Singh Khaira made a massive claim saying that the New York Times post praising AAP on the Delhi Education model is 'photoshopped'.
Congress leader Sukhpal Singh Khaira took to his Twitter handle on Friday and alleged that New York Times post praising the Aam Aadmi Party over the Delhi Education model has been photoshopped. Furthermore, Khaira lashed out at Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal of coming up with 'lame defense' when his Deputy CM Manish Sisodia came under the scanner of the central investigative agency on corruption charges.
Lies of ! 1)It was never on front page.
2)It was on inside page 5, of August 17 issue of the NYT.
3)Since the same story appeared as Paid News in Khaleej Times,we are not sure if it is not paid for in NYT also.
4)Let AAP produce the original copies of August 18?— Sukhpal Singh Khaira (@SukhpalKhaira)
Sukhpal Singh Kharira on his Twitter handle wrote, "I’m shocked to see what level @ArvindKejriwal & his media team can stoop to offer lame defense for their Dy Cm
@msisodia in d midst of corruption charges!Below is d true front page story of New York Times of 18th Aug & photo shopped pic by Kejri team!Shame on fake revolutionaries."
However, it is pertinent to mention here that the New York Times article praising the Delhi model is not fake or photoshopped at all. The AAP had shared the New York Times International edition coverpage, however, Khaira has posted the main coverpage of NYT saying that the AAP coverpage is photoshopped.
Following the photoshop allegation, Khaira posted a followup tweet and yet again lashed out at the AAP saying that it was on New York Times front page, however backtracking that the news was photoshopped. He wrote, "Lies of @ArvindKejriwal ! 1)It was never on front page.

2)It was on inside page 5, of August 17 issue of the NYT. 3)Since the same story appeared as Paid News in Khaleej Times,we are not sure if it is not paid for in NYT also. 4)Let AAP produce the original copies of August 18? (SIC)."
After Khaira's allegation, AAP spokesperson Malvinder Singh Kang said, " While opposing the Aam Aadmi Party and Arvind Kejriwal, Sukhpal Khaira has become so blind that he has raised questions on a newspaper like New York Time. Delhi's education model has been praised on the front page of the New York Times. The New York Times has an international edition and a national edition. Why are you talking baseless things? The New York Times itself has clarified that its reports are impartial and ground reality check reports, without any political interference.
If something good is happening in Punjab, then an attempt is being made to mislead the people by presenting false facts. You should apologize to the people of Punjab and the country. You will have to explain or prove your claim."
Talking to TrueScoop regarding the Tweet, MLA Sukhpal Singh Khaira said that What has been tweeted is absolutely correct, nothing is wrong in that.
