On Wednesday, a video went viral on social media in which a three-headed elephant was seen walking on the road at what seemed like a special gathering that was claimed to be in Prayagraj ahead of Mahakumbh 2025.

The countdown for Mahakumbh 2025 has begun and crores of devotees are all set to take the holy bath and spend almost a month on the bank of Sangam. The Mahakumbh fair is held every 12 years. This event is held in Prayagraj, Haridwar, Nashik, and Ujjain. This time Mahakumbh is being organised in Prayagraj. Starting from 13 January, this fair will continue till 26 February. Earlier, Mahakumbh was held in Prayagraj in 2013. Kumbhnagar district will be settled in six thousand hectares. 

As Mahakumbh 2025 is knocking on the doors, multiple videos are also going viral on social media linking it to the upcoming religious gatherings. On Wednesday, a video went viral on social media that shocked a certain netizens while mesmarised another section of users. In the video, a three-headed elephant was seen walking on the road at what seemed like a special gathering. The video was shared with the claims that the three-headed elephant video was filmed in Mahakumbh 2025 i.e. in Prayagraj. 

It is pertinent to mention here that the three-headed elephant Mahakumbh video spread like wildfire on social media because Hindus worship God named 'Ganesha' who is the son of Lord Shiva and Parvati. Lord Ganesha has the head of elephant but the body of a human. Hence, three headed elephant video is spreading like a wildfire and many social media users are also commenting on it. 

The truth behind Three-headed Elephant Mahakumbh viral video

The video of a three-headed elephant that has gone viral with the claims that it was spotted in Prayagraj is totally misleading and false. On digging deep, True Scoop found a similar type of three headed elephant video on YouTube. The video was uploaded 1 year ago. Another similar kind of video was posted on Facebook early 2024.

As per the post, the video is from the Ayutthaya Khon Festival 2024 in Thailand, showcasing Indra Devta riding the elephant Aravan in disguise. In this picture, the illusion of a three-headed elephant was created by placing two identical masks on either side of the real elephant.
