IPL 2024 turning out to be bizarre for the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) as the team is placed at the bottom of the table after losing 6 out of their 7 matches. On Monday, Pat Cummins-led Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) defeated Faf du Plessis-led RCB by 25 runs at M.Chinnaswamy Stadium. SRH broke its record of the highest team total as they scored 287 runs in 20 overs. In response, RCB put a brilliant fight courtesy of Dinesh Karthik's 83 off 35 balls. However, in the end, it was SRH who sealed the victory. Interestingly, on Wednesday a video went viral on social media with the claims that it was shot after the RCBvsSRH match.
The video was surfaced on social media with the claims that Virat lost his temper after suffering defeat from SRH. In the video, Virat Kohli was seen pushing a player. It was clear that a certain section of fans shared the video with the claims that Virat Kohli angrily pushed the SRH player aside.
However, the claims that Virat Kohli angrily pushed an SRH player is totally fake. The video surfaced on social media is old. Furthermore, in the video, the player with Kohli is not from SRH but from Rajasthan Royals, To be precise, the player in the video is Mayank Agarwal who plays for RR. Mayank was sharing a light moment with Virat Kohli after the match.
The fakeness of the video can be observed after seeing the jersey of RCB. In the viral clip, RCB players & Kohli are wearing red & black jerseys. However, currently, RCB's jersey's colour is different- blue & red.
Notably, multiple fans pointed out that 'Virat Kohli angry SRH player video' is fake. A user wrote, "Don't spread fake last year videos"
Another user wrote, "Old Video & Audio of 2018-19 series of Kohli & @TimPaine."
One more user pointed out, "Old video, friendly banter between mayank agarwal and virat kohli, audio of india and australia test series..Dont spread fake videos..Atleast editing to ache se krte."
