While the Border-Gavaskar Series 2024-25 is underway in Australia, Team India opener Yashasvi Jaiswal's first tour to Kangaroo nation has been a mixed bag. The video is going viral with the caption, "Jaiswal Rocked Kohli Shocked". In the video, Virat Kohli can be seen sitting next to Yashasvi Jaiswal. Soon after that, Jaiswal starts smoking.

The video that is going viral on social media with the claims that Yashasvi Jaiswal smoked a cigarette during the second India vs Australia Test in Adelaide is totally false and misleading. If you watch the video carefully you will witness some irregularity in the video. It can be said that Yashasvi Jaiswal smoking video is AI generated and spreading just for the fun by multiple meme pages on social media.

Coming back to the Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2024-2025, Pat Cummins-led Australian team leveled the 5 matches Test series by 1-1 in Adelaide. Australia defeated Rohit Sharma & Co. by 10 wickets in the second test which was a Pink ball test match. Before this, stand-in captain Jasprit Bumrah led Team India to victory in the first test in Perth at the Optus Stadium. India won the first test by 295 runs. 

Now, with the series is 1-1, the focus now shifts to the Gabba once again as India will take on Australia in Brisbane in the third test. India vs Australia 3rd Test will go underway from December 14, 2024.
