The news of an increment of 6 numbers in the general category marks requirement in REET Exam is being circulated on social media. A final cutoff list is being shared on social media platforms. It is being claimed that the selection is being done at 136 by increasing the number of 6 in the general category.
On the list, the signature of Kanaram, Director, Department of Elementary Education can be seen. The Education Department had selected 31,000 candidates for 15,500 posts of REET Level-1 two months back. The recruitment is still in progress. After document verification and a district-wise list, the final selection is to be done for 15,500 posts.

The final cutoff list can be released by the Education Department within this month. During the investigation of the cutoff list being circulated on the Internet, Kanaram, Director, Department of Elementary Education cleared that the fake list is being shared. He said that the recruitment process of third-grade teachers on 15,500 posts will be completed soon. He also said that legal action will also be taken against the mischievous people who make the fake cutoff list viral.
