A local youth said, "Road connectivity in our area is worst. We carry the patients to the hospital using a horse cart or hand cart and also have to cross the river."
We appeal the Chief Minister to look into this. We are facing a lot of problems, the local youth added.
Many villagers have earlier also carried patients on hand cart or horse cart to reach hospitals. Last year, a teacher from Majuli died due to lack of poor road connectivity and medical treatment.
