News has been surging up from Faridkot where kirpans were taken out over a little quarrel in the Gurudwara of German Colony. Reportedly, two groups had a heated argument between themselves which then turned into a humongous fight.
According to the information that has been received, the argument sprung up between two groups of Gurudwara, i.e. present and old committee. Later on, the debate rose to a level where such a holy and peaceful place was turned into a battlefield.
Today, on the occasion of Sangranad, this terrible fight that took place in the German colony of Faridkot, both sides attacked each other with kirpans inside the Gurdwara Sahib. During the fight, even a woman devotee got injured who was not even part of this argument. As the fight was going on, turbans of people on both sides fell off, which gave more heat to the fight.
According to the sources, the beginning of this fight started with the discussion about the election of the President. During the initial talks, the members of both parties got into an argument over who will hold the chairmanship. This debate took place between the current committee and the former committee members of the Gurdwara Sahib, which soon turned into a fierce fight. After this incident, the video has gone viral on social media.
Currently, more information is being collected from the Gurdwara management about this dispute. The SSP of Faridkot, Rajpal Sandhu has added that a case has been filed against the people involved in this dispute. This is a case of creating unrest in a public place over a really petty issue.
