The farmer union of Punjab who has been protesting for over more than a fortnight against the newly enacted farm laws has accepted the invitation of the Centre for discussion.
This information was revealed by the Farmer Union of India, Balbir Singh Rajewal. He during a meeting in Chandigarh said, "Farmer Union has accepted Centre's invite to discuss the newly enacted farm laws. We have constituted a team of 7 members, who will keep their notion robustly in front of the government."

While talking to the reporters, Rajewal also said that the Centre has repeatedly called the farmers for discussion, and this time we really need it to take place. He further added that we don't want to give any excuse to the government to point us, hence, our team will join the discussion.
