The Kirti Kisan Forum (KKF) has claimed that the so-called intellectuals, the political parties in favor of the three agricultural laws did not come forward to debate with them. It may be recalled that several former IAS, IPS, provincial services and army officers have joined the Forum recently, who had challenged the open debate on the issue of three agricultural laws.
While Co-chairing the Kirti-Kisan Forum, Padmasree Swaran Singh Boparai and Padmasree R.I. Singh, former Chief Secretary to the Punjab Government lauded the enthusiasm of all the officers who were ready to join the Kisan Parliament. In a meeting held in Chandigarh today, legal expert Joginder Singh Toor outlined the dark aspects of the recently published book on the deadly effects of the three agricultural laws and sent copies of the English edition free of cost to MPs, intellectuals, and assembly members across the country.

Boparai said that the security and stability of the country depended entirely on agriculture, farmers, and the countryside. Rural development and livelihoods cannot be disrupted. The Samyukta Kisan Morcha (SFM) has been peacefully protesting for the last ten months due to the support of all sections of the society for the ongoing agitation against the three agricultural laws.
On behalf of Farmers Welfare Trust, Sukhdev Singh Sidhu promised all possible help to make the Kisan Andolan a success. The meeting was also attended by women officers.
In the meeting MS Chahal, GPS Sahi, JR Kundal, TR Sarangal, D. S. Bains, Kulbir Singh Sidhu, Iqbal Singh Sidhu, SK Sandhu, Balwinder Singh Multani, GK Singh, Karamjit Singh Saran, Harkesh Singh Sidhu, Prithi Chand, Harbans Kaur Bahia, Charanjit Singh, Sukhdev Singh Sidhu, Jarnail Singh, Pinki Aulakh, Brigadier Harwant Singh, Brigadier Mohan Singh, Gurbir Singh Sandhu, Sarabjit Dhaliwal, Col. AS Hira, Amar Singh Chahal, Pradeep Singh Kaleka and a total of 35 officers including Kishori Lal, Col. MS Bajwa was present.
