In a bizarre development, farmers and shopkeepers on Monday came at loggerheads and fought with each other after BKU workers attacked an immigration consultancy in Barnala, Punjab. As per reports, Farmer Organization BKU Burjgill was protesting in front of the Immigration Consultant's shop over alleged fraud. In response, the shopkeepers union decided to shut down their shops and started protesting against the farmers. This sparked a heated argument between both parties that resulted in a physical fight.
In the video, farmers and shopkeepers can be seen screaming at each other while the Punjab Police are trying to calm the situation. However, one of the farmers started using his stick to assault one of the shopkeepers. However, the shopkeeper escaped the attack. Thereafter, another farmer tried to hit one of the shopkeepers with his stick, but this time, the shopkeeper grabbed his stick and pulled him towards himself. Suddenly, the Police intervened and the farmer was pushed back and fell to the ground.
