Farmers across the country except Punjab and Haryana will leave for Delhi by buses, trains etc. instead of tractor-trolleys on March 6. This announcement was made by farmer leader Sarwan Singh Pandher during the commemoration ceremony of the young farmer Shubkaran Singh, who was killed at Khanuri border, at village Ballo today. The leaders of various farmers' unions called upon the people to unite and struggle for the fulfillment of their demands from the central government.

Sarwan Singh Pandher, state president of Kisan Mazdoor Sangharsh Committee, said that the Center has asked the farmers to come to Delhi by buses, trains etc. instead of tractor-trolleys. Now he will go to Delhi on March 6 using these means. He says that the struggle will continue until the demands of the farmers are met. He said that the Center has not fulfilled the promises made to the farmers about two years ago. By making State Home Minister Ajay Mishra a candidate again from Lakhimpur constituency, the BJP has shown that it is not serious about solving the farmers' issues. The arrest of his Ajay Mishra’s was one of their main demands, he further added.

State president of BKU (Sidhupur) Jagjit Singh Dallewal said that the Haryana government has agreed to waive interest on agricultural loans only because of farmers' agitation.
