The country is set to face a few changes beginning today, February 1 that is set to affect the pockets of commoners. Beginning with the changes in prices of TATA’s vehicle that has got costlier by over ₹18,000 to paying your home rent via credit cards. 1. Tata’s vehicle gets costlier:
India's third largest auto manufacturer company Tata has increased the prices of its vehicles today. This will be applicable at the rate of 1.2% on different variants of all models. The company has increased the prices for the second time within three months. Earlier on November 7, Tata Motors had increased the prices of passenger vehicles by 0.90%.
2. Extra charge on paying rent via credit cards of BoB:
Paying the rent with a credit card is going to be costly. Bank of Baroda has announced that it will levy a 1% fee on rent payments through credit cards.
3. CNG prices down by ₹2.5 per kilo:
CNG prices have been cut by Rs 2.50 in Mumbai and surrounding areas. Accordingly, the revised prices of CNG used in vehicles in Mumbai have now come down from Rs 89.50 per kg to Rs 87 per kg.
4. No change in the prices of domestic LPG:
Here’s how the rate of domestic and commercial cylinders fair in some of the country’s prominent cities.
Delhi: Commercial costs ₹1769, while the domestic cylinders will be available at ₹1053.
Mumbai: In the country’s commercial capital the price is pegged at ₹1052.5 and ₹1721 for domestic and commercial respectively.
Kolkata: The eastern ancient city has the highest rate where the consumers need to pay ₹1079 and ₹1870 respectively for domestic and commercial cylinders.
Chennai: ₹1068.5 for domestic, while commercial consumers need to cough up ₹1917.
5. Stagnant prices of Petrol and Diesel:
Oil prices in the country have been stable for the last about 6 months. Although petrol became cheaper by Rs 5 per litre in Maharashtra and diesel by Rs 3 per litre in July, in other states the prices remained the same and will remain the same until further order rolls in.
