However, as per reports, Fighter's digital rights have been bagged by American streaming giant Netflix. Therefore, Fighter will be available for online streaming on Netflix.
Talking about Fighter's OTT release, if the makers follow the standard 56-day rule, then the Hrithik Roshan starrer movie will be released on Netflix in April or May this year. However, it has been witnessed that the makers have stopped following such rules and wait for some occasion to drop the movie on streaming platforms. For instance- Pathaan, Animal, Sam Bahadur, etc. If the makers follow the trend, then Fighter may be released in March on the occasion of Holi which is on March 24, 2024. Is Fighter a true story?
The answer is yes and no at the same time. Fighter is an original story written by Siddharth Anand and Ramon Chibb that uses real-life references in the aftermath of the Pulwama terror attacks. Fighter trailer mentions India launching airstrikes in POK and destroying terror launchpads in Balakot in response to Pakistan's terror attack in Pulwama that martyred at least 40 Indian Army personnel.
