Jadavpur Universities Valentine's notice is circulating all over the internet. Students and teachers of the university received a message on Friday stating that Valentine’s Day will be celebrated on the campus. Students are required to find a girlfriend-boyfriend till February 10 to enjoy the college fest.
Later, it was discovered that a fake circular is getting viral on social media issued by Jadavpur University. The circular has a fake signature of the Registrar on it. In the notice, it was written that,
“Departments are requested to follow the instructions conducting Valentine’s Day fest on 14-02-2022.
All students departments are requested to find their Valentine in the college and attend the fest. Students are who come single are strictly prohibited. Deadline to find a boyfriend or girlfriend is 10-02-2022 and to register their names. Your valentine can be of anyone irrespective of branch and year.”
As soon as the notice went viral, Netizens started laughing over it. Some users started questioning the college norms. A complaint has been filed by the college authorities in Cyber Crime.
