Equipped with world class training, delegation of 72 members including BPEOs, CHTs, HTs and Primary/Elementary Teachers, who went to training at Finland, on Friday profusely thanked the Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann for infusing a new vigorous in them for giving facelift to education system.
Integrating with the Chief Minister, Manmeet Singh of Ludhiana said that we were acquainted about the playful techniques of learning after visit of Finland adding that prior to it they were only stuck with the typical learning methods. He said that we are sharing their experiences with other fellow teachers.
Another teacher Daljit Singh from Bathinda said that one of the trainer of Finaland called Cristina praised the initiative of Punjab Government. He said that he also shared his experience with panchayat and other teachers due to which he was highly elated.
Meanwhile Amrinderpal Singh DHillon of Talwara, said that this international training has imbibed sense of responsibility. He said that the visionary decision of CM, will usher an era of change in Education at grass root level.
Sharing her experience Primary teacher Baljit Kaur Parmar of Fatehgarh Sahib, said that this opportunity has provided a chance to break a comfort shell and explore ourselves in new waters. She said that this opportunity inculcated confidence in her to express her views at every front.
However, Anoop Singh Maini of Taran Taran, said that our outlook totally changed after the training. He said that they are awestruck with Finnish education level which is stressing on practical education apart from other methods.
Talking about the Finnish Education Revolution, Manpreet Singh of Ludhiana, said that strong political Will started the changes in Finland and now Punjab seeing this change in firm political resolve. He congratulated CM for this visionary decision to gig major push to education.
Another teacher Vandana Heen of Hoshiarpur, said that it was a journey of learning with joy which is the need of the hour also. She thanked the Chief Minister for giving them an opportunity to visit abroad.
Nirmaljeet Kaur of Taran Taran, shared her experience and said that It is first time the teachers of primary schools went for training. She said that they learned the time management and now Inculcate moral values to students.
Anchal Singla of Patiala, said that Primary and Pre Primary Curriculum of the state was at par with Finland but their students are learning with enjoy. She was overwhelmed by the decision of the state government to ensure training to them on foreign shores.
Vandana of SAS Nagar, said that education system of Finland was revolutionary as students of fourth standard is learning business skills and they were very well known about the trademark and food license. She said that due to the efforts of the Chief Minister they have got a unique experience.
Gurpreet Singh of Patiala, said that the state government has set an example by ensuring that they are free from stress. He said that this training proved to be a milestone for their overall development.
On this occasion, SCERT Director, Amaninder Kaur Brar, praised the energetic team, emphasizing the importance of regular breaks between two classes to maintain productivity. She highlighted the need for hands-on experience, stressing that every school should have access to carpentry shops and others. Moreover, Ms. Brar advocated for providing students with tools, allowing them to gain practical skills and apply theoretical knowledge in a real-world setting.
