In the latest development, an FIR has been registered against Shahrukh Khan’s wife Gauri Khan by the UP Police over cheating. The case has been registered against her under section 409 of the Indian Penal Code for criminal breach of trust. The investigation is underway.
Reportedly, a resident of Mumbai Jaswant Shah filed a complaint against Gauri Khan and the company whose brand ambassador she was as they failed to give him possession of the flat even after paying Rs. 86 lahks. Along with Gauri Khan, complaint has also been filed against Tulsiyani Construction and Development Limited Chief Managing Director, Anil Kumar Tulsiyani, and its Director Mahesh Tulsiyani.
Complainant Jaswant Shah revealed that in the year 2015, Gauri Khan was brand ambassador of this company and promoted it by telling the audience to buy it as they provide super luxurious apartments. He added that coming under her influence, he bought the flat and also did a payment of Rs. 86 lakh but still hasn’t got possession.
Jaswant Shah revealed that he was promised by the accused to get possession within a year and they also stated that if the company fails to do so, all the money will be returned. However, till date he has not got possession ad apart from this the agreement of the flat booked by the victim has also been transferred to someone else.
