In a shocking development, shots were fired outside Punjabi singer AP Dhillon's house in Vancouver, Canada. Although an official confirmation regarding the same is awaited, reports suggest that gunfire was heard near the singer's home in Victoria Island area. Furthermore, it has been reported that the Lawrence Bishnoi-Rohit Godara gang has claimed responsibility for the shootings. A message is also circulating on social media in which it is claimed that the shooting took place on the night of September 1, 2024. The Lawrence Bishnoi gang orchestrated shootings at two locations in Canada—one on Victoria Island and the other in Woodbridge, Toronto.
The viral social media post reads, "Firing incidents took place at two locations on the night of September 1 - Victoria Island and Woodbrige Toronto. I (Rohit Godara from the Lawrence Bishnoi Gang) take responsibility for both the firing incidents.....The house in Victoria Island belongs to AP Dhillon. He was showing off after casting Salman Khan in his song. We came to your house, you should have come out and shown us some action. The underworld life you copy, we are actually living it..."
The identity of the shooters is yet to be revealed. Also, Canadian Police are currently investigating a video that is allegedly linked to the incident.
For the unversed, AP Dhillon recently worked with Bollywood actor Salman Khan in a music video named Old Money. Salman Khan is at the top of the hit list of Lawrence Bishnoi-gang. Notably, the Bishnoi gang also fired shots at Punjabi singer Gippy Grewal's house in Canada when he shared the stage with Salman during movie promotions. Later, Gippy had to issue a clarification saying that he is only connected to Salman Khan only because of work.
