In a worrisome development, bike-borne miscreants opened fire late at night outside the house of late Punjabi singer Sidhu Moose Wala's close aide Pragat Singh. The miscreants carried out this incident amid dense fog. The attackers fired bullets at the gate. Due to fog, the faces of the attackers were not caught on the CCTV clearly. As per reports, the attackers fired two bullets. Police have found a bullet mark on the gate.
Police have started an investigation. Notably, Pragat Singh has also worked in Sidhu Moose Wala's songs in the past. He works in transport. It is learned that the attackers have demanded a ransom of Rs 30 lakh. The miscreants have demanded extortion by claiming to be from Lawrence Bishnoi Group. It is not yet known whether this threat has been sent by Lawrence Group or not. So far no gang has taken responsibility for this threat.
As per reports, the family received a call and message from a number in England. The sender of the message wrote, "Do not say again that I did not tell you. Now I am telling you that iron will not go with you. Be careful. Bring a gunman quickly. Lawrence Bishnoi Group. If you can save yourself, take the bulletproof Fortuner 0093." About 10 days ago, Pragat Singh has also lodged a complaint with the police.
For the unversed, Sidhu Moose Wala was shot dead by unidentified assailants in his car on 29 May 2022 in Jawaharke village of Mansa at age of 28. Later, Goldy Brar of Lawrence Bishnoi group took responsibility of Sidhu Moose Wala's assassination.
