United States Elections 2020 has happened on November 3 but results still remain vague. Though a cut-throat competition is being observed between Donald Trump and Joe Biden, the latter has garnered 264 votes against his Republican counterpart which stands behind him at 214.
However, President Donald does not seem to be contented with the results and has called the elections a 'fraud'. Also, Trump has sought voting to be closed because the results are not in his favor.
Whereas Biden seems to be delighted with the results and while addressing a public meeting in his hometown Wilmington in Delaware, Biden said, "At times politics turn filthy. By the time vote counting is not accomplished, we need to be patient."
"When the vote-counting will be over, undoubtedly, we will emerge victorious," Biden said during the address.
Biden is projecting confidence, the campaign even had a stage-ready in Wilmington, Delaware, and microphones got tested - in preparation for a big announcement.
According to the report of the New York Times, the race to become President between Trump and Biden is lurching towards a nail-biting finish. As of now, five states of the US which will decide the new President is witnessing blunt competition.
* Pennsylvania: In a span of barely six hours, US President Donald Trump's lead against his Democratic rival Joe Biden has suddenly eroded in battleground Pennsylvania, with barely 26,000 votes separating the two candidates at 11 p.m. EST on Thursday night (9.40 a.m. IST Friday morning). Trump led Biden by 90,000 votes about six hours ago. If Biden wins Pennsylvania, he wins the presidency. Thus, the remaining 37 thousand votes are yet to be counted.
* Arizona: Counting is underway in Maricopa and Pima Counties. Here, Trump has narrowed Biden's lead in the state from about 69,000 votes to 46,000.
* Georgia: Till Thursday, Trump was winning here with 18,000 votes. But now, only 2000 votes are left to be counted.
* Nevada: Competition between the two leaders in the state is quite close as Biden has been able to collect 11,000 votes against 8,000 votes of Trump.
* North Carolina: Here Trump has received 50% votes and Biden has got 48.6% votes. Voting of 77,000 ballots is underway. However, Biden needs two-thirds votes to win US Presidential Elections 2020.
According to the report of CNN, Donald Trump has finally spoken to media rather than making false claims on Twitter and said, "Election results are being fabricated, a propaganda is running against me."
