It is said that the incident took place in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh. According to people, the incident happened on May 10, Sunday afternoon when a milkman’s bicycle overturned on the road. After the milkman left, a young man saw milk spread on the road. To eradicate his hunger, he sat down on his knees and started drinking milk. Seeing this people on the road came forward to help the man and provided him with food.

This video shows the distressing reality of Uttar Pradesh where workers and laborers are facing a food crisis due to a prolonged lockdown. Kanpur, the industrial city of the country has a large number of laborers working in the small and big factories, many of which are shut down during the lockdown.  Many workers are left unemployed and are now struggling for food.

At the time of crisis, no food or ration is given to these people by district administrations. Social institutions are also not coming to aid workers leaving them homeless and breadless.
