Reportedly, Yuvraj Singh is planning to make his return to the cricket field, later this year he might play competitive cricket in Australia.
The Mulgrave Cricket Club would start soon, and as per the various media agencies, it would be signing up former Indian cricketer Yuvraj Singh and West Indies cricketer Chris Gayle for the T20 matches. The club is also in talks with Brian Lara and AB de Villiers.
Chris, who is currently playing for West Indies against South Africa, is one of the active players on the list. Sri Lanka players Tillakaratne Dilshan and Upul Tharanga have already booked their seats in the club with Sanath Jayasuriya as their head coach.
Mulgrave president Milan Pullenayegam told a cricket media agency, “We’ve secured Dilshan, Tharanga along with Sanath. And now we are working on finalizing agreements with a few other potential players.
We are in negotiations, and with Chirs Gayle and Yuvraj Singh, we are nearly 85 to 90 percent there. We need to finalize a few things but it looks really good.”
He further said, “We’ve got a good backing at the moment that will get us across the line, but we don’t want to be just breaking even on it, we want to be able to give back the community and expand the structure of the club.
It’s a process, with these big-name players there’s a lot of things we need to incorporate into their visits to Australia.”

It was also believed that Yuvraj Singh was set to participate in Big Bash League, but it didn’t happen. He would be the first player as no Indian Player has played in Big Bash League so far.
In 2021, Yuvraj Singh joined Indian Legends for the Road Safety Series and was the part of Sachin-led team. The team stormed into the finals of the first edition of the series and won by 13 runs.
This year, there were reports that Yuvraj would make a comeback for Punjab’s team but BCCI denied the permission as he has played many foreign leagues.
