Ex-servicemen from Punjab step forward for serving in the Russia-Ukraine war, seeking permission from the government

After the continuous attack of Russia on Ukraine, Ukraine has faced a lot of damage. On one side where people are trying to escape from the war zone, the former soldiers from Amritsar who served the country for years want to go to Ukraine. 

 
The Ukraine government recently announced free visas for those who want to go to Ukraine for helping them in the current situations. The soldiers said as they got the information, they made their minds to reach there and help Ukraine in the war. 

 
On the matter, one of the former soldiers said that the Indian army has always faced their enemies with bravery, and now in the current situation they want to help Ukraine. 

 
Many Indians are still in Ukraine and trying to find ways to come back to India. Students from different states of India are stuck in Ukraine. They are waiting to be rescued from the war-torn country. The Indian government has launched Operation Ganga to evacuate the stranded students. 

 
 
Two students lost their life in Ukraine, one from the shelling in Kharkiv and the other from a brain stroke. Families of the stranded Indians in Ukraine are tensed for their loved ones.
