Pulwama, February 14: Massive throng was witnessed at the native village of the Jaish-e-Mohammad militant who as per the reports attacked the CRPF convoy at Lethpora Awantipora, and held funeral prayers in absentia for him.
Locals told that thousands of people marched from different villages towards Gandi bagh, the native village of JeM militant Adil Ahmad Dar alias Waqas commando.
"Funeral prayer in absentia was held for Adil and more people are marching towards the village," locals said.
Minor clashes also erupted in the area as soon as the news of Adil's fidayeen attack spread in the area. "Youth clashed with forces in the area and pelted stones on forces personnel," he said.
Dar claimed in the video he joined the ranks of the banned terror outfit last year and after a year, he has been "assigned" the task of the deadly attack. He adds that when the video is released, he will be in jannat (heaven).
