'Funniest Video Ever':  Michigan man with suspended license joins court hearing via Zoom while driving

The Michigan man appeared virtually in a Washtenaw County court on May 15 and he was ordered by a judge to turn himself in after his camera showed him actively driving under a suspended license.

In a bizarre development, a judge of the Michigan court was left in shock after a man joined the hearing with suspended license via Zoom call. What shocked the judge was the man's DL was suspended but still he was driving his car and even joined the couring doing it. As per US media reports, the Michigan man appeared virtually in a Washtenaw County court. He was ordered by a judge to turn himself in after his camera showed him actively driving under a suspended license.

The shocking incident took place on May 15. The Michigan man has been identified as Corey Harris. Corey Harris, 44, was scheduled to attend the hearing for charges stemming from an earlier arrest in Pittsfield Township, just south of Ann Arbor.

Going by Michigan court viral video, when Harris joined the hearing, visibly behind the wheel of a car in motion. Seeing this, Judge Cedric Simpson asked, "Mr. Harris, are you driving?" Harris then replied, "Actually, I'm pulling into my doctor's office, actually. Just give me one second."

When the lawyer sought adjournment of the hearing, Judge Cedric Simpson said, "Maybe I dont understand something. This is a driver with license suspended." The lawyer answers, "That is correct yor honour."

The judge then says, "And, he was just driving. And he did not have a license." The lawyer says, "It's with the charges your honour, yes."

"No I am looking at his record, he does not have a license. He is suspended and he is just driving," asked the Judge. 

The lawyer then said,"That is correct you honour."

"I dont even know why he would do that. So defendant bond is revoked in this matter. Defendant is turning himself into the Washington County Jail today, failure to turn himself in will result in a bench warrant with no bond," ordered the judge.
