Gangster Rana Kandhowalia on Tuesday night was shot dead by two unidentified men at a private hospital in Amritsar, Punjab.
Reportedly, the incident took place at 8 pm on the third floor of the hospital, in which close relatives of deceased Kandhowalia were undergoing treatment. However, the accused has not been identified yet. It has been learnt from sources, two men were keeping tab of Rana’s movement in the hospital from past few days.
After grabbing the right opportunity, miscreants shot him dead on the third floor of the hospital while Rana was going to meet his sick wife. Reportedly, the accused fired one bullet at deceased gangster’s head and three in his chest.
Moreover, Rana’s accomplices have also been shot by the
miscreants. One of the aides of Rana is undergoing treatment after his
condition got critical. Student Union head Tejbir Singh Teja, an aide of Rana,
has also received two bullets in his back during the shooting incident.

As soon as the news broke out, the police force reached the spot and started investigating the matter. However, the gangster's death is not yet officially confirmed.
According to the sources, gangster Jaggu Bhagwanpuriya, who is lodged in Tihar Jail, might have carried out Rana’s murder with the help of his henchmen. However, Jaggu’s team has not claimed their responsibility of the same on the social media platforms.
