Balkaur Singh, the father of the late Sidhu Moosewala, arrived in Amritsar to help to identify his son's killers. He is currently in the mortuary of the Civil Hospital, where his son Sidhu Moosewala's killers' bodies are kept. He had previously arrived at the Gharinda police station. Balkaur Singh has stated that this is only the beginning of their battle. The death of two will not bring back their son. He will continue to fight for justice for his son.
On Wednesday, Punjab Police killed two gangsters Jagroop Roopa and Manpreet Mannu in an encounter. The encounter lasted for about 5 hours in Bhakna village, 10 km from the India-Pakistan border. The postmortem of the gangsters will be held today. Their bodies are kept at the Civil Hospital Morchuri.

Before the post-mortem, the process of preparing the Panchnama of the dead bodies was to be completed, in which Sidhu Moosewala's father Balkaur Singh was also required to be there so he reached Amritsar.
