John Abraham-starrer Attack producer Ajay Kapoor has collaborated with Subhash Kale for a film based on the Afghan rescue crisis. The film is titled Garud. The film's director and cast are yet to be announced.
The movie is inspired by the story of a real-life officer in the Garud Commando Force, a Special Forces unit of the Indian Air Force. Jay Kapoor has done many films with Akshay Kumar and John Abraham. Maybe one of these two stars will get a chance in this film.
Ajay Kapoor shared, “Subhash and I have been working together for a long time and have been friends for years. When he approached me for Garuda, I was really hooked to the script and immediately joined the project. The film depicts a story of inspiring patriotism with a strong emotional connect. We are looking forward to take the story forward in a big way to give due justice to the script.”
Subhash Kale shared, “Garuda is a very special project for me, I have been working on developing such a script for a long time and I am glad that the film is finally coming true with a brilliant producer like Ajay Kapoor is. This is a special project for me and I want to give it a very creative look. Taking inspiration from real-life incidents, we are aiming to give the film an international look.”
