Addressing a press conference in Delhi, Arvind Kejriwal lashes out at BJP and Congress for calling himself a terrorist. A few days back, former AAP leader Kumar Vishwas’s video went viral on social media. Kumar said in the video that Arvind Kejriwal supports separatists in Punjab.
Kejriwal finally broke his silence and in a reply to that video, he compared himself with legendary freedom fighter Bhagat Singh. Kejriwal said, “All these politicians have come together to allege that I have been making a plan to divide the country into two parts, and I will be the Prime Minister of one such portion. This is hilarious.”
“What were agencies during the Congress and BJP's tenure doing till now? Why did they not arrest me? This is such a humorous matter," he added.
“Perhaps I am the world's sweetest terrorist who builds hospitals, schools, pilgrimage schemes for senior citizens. The British used to fear Bhagat Singh. That is why he was called a terrorist. I am a disciple of Bhagat Singh,” said Kejriwal.
Ex-cricketer Gautam Gambhir slams Kejriwal for using Bhagat Singh’s name for his political gain.
Twitteratis condemns Kejriwal’s statement and called him a selfish leader.
