Heating up the political arena, Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot launched an attack on Prime Minister Narendra Modi while speaking to a news source saying, “If people re-elect Modi, then there is no surety on whether elections will be held in the country or not. ‘Chunav honge bhi, aur nahin bhi honge…jaise China, Russia mein hota hai‘ (Elections will be held in the country and yet not be held, like what happens in China, Russia)”.

Referring to China and Russia, Gehlot said that there is a high possibility of Modi government making amendments in constitution to make the electoral process a single-party system.

Hurling accusations and allegations on the Prime Minister, Gehlot said that PM Modi could do anything to become the PM again.

“This man can do anything to win elections…People felt he could even go to war with Pakistan, which is not a good thing….The personality of Modi ji that has emerged before the country is that he can go to any extent before and after elections…to win elections,” said the Rajasthan CM.

Taking a dig at Modi's oratory skills, Gehlot called Modi a 'master in marketing false promises' and that he could have had a fantastic career in Bollywood.

“If Modi ji was in Bollywood, maybe he would have left a different mark in the country and abroad, with his mastery in acting, oratory skills and antics,” Gehlot said.

BJP had suffered a loss in last assembly elections in Rajasthan and is looking to re-establish itself in the state.
